Imagine Tomorrow:
What a Way to Live

Imagine Tomorrow: What a Way to Live offers a vision of what A Good Dying could look like and feel like.

branch, cherry blossoms, blue Let me invite you on a journey. An imagined journey. An excursion into a field of dreams. Good dreams. Purrfect dreams.

Let's imagine tomorrow.

What if we can co-create our reality using our imagination. What if we create a parallel universe. Right next to the one we are in. Just a hair's breath away.

What if we keep imagining. Envisioning. Dreaming.

Dreaming it into our here and now. Will you do it with me? Imagine tomorrow?

Let me set the mood. Show you the door. Open the door. For you. For us.

Just watch this five minute video, or parts of it.

Let's imagine a Full Life

blue, seed, Now that the door is open: Let's imagine tomorrow...

Let's imagine living a full life. A fulfilled life. A rich life beyond any measure of wealth. Everything we need is provided. Effortlessly and in purrfect timing.

A life full of connections. Full of intimacy or into-me-see. Full of many I-love-yous, many thank-yous and a number of I-forgive-yous.

Brimming over with joy. And challenges. And mastery. And ease. And peace.

Let's imagine living a life with a purpose. A purpose we are aware of. A purpose which inspires us to be all we came here to be. And more, surprising ourselves. A purpose that helps us serve the greater good. In us and in others around us.

Lets imagine a life filled with the knowing that we are One with Source. With Spirit. With God. With All There is. Deeply rooted and fully connected. Without even the shadow of a doubt. Yes.

Beginnings and Completions

poppies, california, blue Let's imagine tomorrow even more. Living a life filled with a series of beginnings and endings. Conscious beginnings and conscious completions.

Beginnings full of excitement, newness and visions. I am welcoming the next step. I am ready to say Yes once again. To dare. To risk. To start again.

Like early mornings. Like sunrises.

Completions full of ripeness, insights and wisdom. I have walked this path. I feel complete. I am saying goodbye to that particular part of the journey.

Like late evenings. Like sunsets.

Yesterday is but a dream
and tomorrow is only a vision.
But today well lived
makes every yesterday
a dream of happiness
and every tomorrow
a new vision of hope.

- Kalidasa -

A Healthy Body

grass, grasses, blue Here is a quantum leap imagine: Let's imagine a healthy body through all these beginnings and completions. These sunrises and sunsets.

Let's imagine a body feeling strong yet light. A body enjoying all kinds of movement. Dancing. Walking. Gardening. Being outdoors. Engaging in sports and fitness.

Feeling really comfortable and at ease. Feeling deliciously free.

Let's imagine a mind still active and curious. Still willing to explore new territories. Still open like a child's. Remembering the sense of wonder...

For many years. Through a number of decades. Maybe even into another century.

Imagine aging in wisdom, joy and peacefulness. Like an aged cheese. Or a vintage wine. Only getting fuller and richer with years. Only knowing ourselves more joyful. More peaceful. More in the moment. The older we get.

Slowing Down Naturally

berries, twigs, blue Now let's imagine tomorrow: we are slowing down. Moving inward. Slowly moving towards an ending. In its very own time.

Naturally. Gently. Gracefully.

Without our bodies breaking down. Without the need for terminal illness and disease. Without our minds wandering into lost corridors. Without the need for dementia and Alzheimer's. Slowly moving towards an easy ending.

Just because it is time.

Time to go. Letting go of this body. This name. This identity. This community. This life.

Time to move on. Time for the next step. The next adventure. The next experience. Whatever that might look like.

We feel it. We know it and we trust it. Knowing it as appropriate. Feeling it is time.

Let us be silent,
that we may hear
the whispers of the gods.

- Ralph Waldo Emerson -

Knowing Within

blossom, purple, blue Let's imagine that we first know it within. Like the touch of gossamer wing. Like a light kiss in passing on the cheek.

Then we know it in our bellies. In our soft bellies filled with ripeness, experiences and satisfaction. Purposeful satisfaction.

Then we share it with our closest loved ones. We tell them. One by one. Or in an intimate gathering.

With lots of room for all the different feelings that endings evoke. Some tears. Requests for individual completions. Feelings of loss. Sadness. Letting go.

Time to say one more I love you. Time to say one more thank you. Time to say one more goodbye.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.

It turns denial into
acceptance, chaos to order,
confusion to clarity.

It can turn a meal into a feast,
a house into a home,
a stranger into a friend.

Gratitude makes sense of our past,
brings peace for today,
and creates a vision for tomorrow.

- Melody Beattie -

A Life Celebration

blossoms, blue Let's imagine tomorrow: having a life celebration. While we are still in this body and here on earth. Alive and well and joyful. While knowing that the end is near. The next step is close.

We see so many loving and well loved faces. One more time. We hug so many familiar bodies. One more time. We get to sing and dance and cry and eat and talk and celebrate. One more time.

We take the time to end this life out of fullness. From a sense of completion. We take the time to walk out of this life upright and strong, yet ready to go on.

Radiance

twist, twig, corckscrew, blue Now that the ending is close, let's imagine feeling a joy so palpable that our bodies vibrate. With a peace so rich that we can just be. Here. In this moment.

Everyone with eyes to see recognizes the radiance of this special time. The luminous quality of these last weeks. These last days. These last hours.

No need for painful body experiences. No need for fearful evasions and distractions.

Just a knowing that all is well. That we are safe. That our timing is right. That the next step or adventure is within reach. That we are ready.

Carried by this deep unshakable knowing. Rooted in our full life experience. In our solid connection to the Divine. To Source. To Spirit. To God. To all there is...

There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as if everything is.

- Albert Einstein -

Being Fully Ready to Leave

leaf, dry, blue Let's imagine the time being right. Imagine day end your life.

Knowing that this is our time to go. To leave this body and this form behind. Being ready to go.

We close our eyes. Knowing that we feel complete with this wonderfilled life. Knowing that this body has served us so well. Ready to be moving onwards and upwards.

We take a couple more breaths.

We take one more breath.

We are dying.

All is well.

Full of Awe and Wonder

So many days full of awe and wonder
can be found hiding on the way home
when least expected to be discovered
pointing the way to death's wide open door

So many moments hardly forgotten
brilliantly flaring up never to stop
when all the paths converge in one place
finally seeing death's wide open door

So many different feelings blooming
like a desert right after a torrential rain
when everything needed was spoken
just right here through death's wide open door
